Information collected

We collect account and verification data, approximate location you provide, storefronts, listings, tags, Wanted posts, individual and bundle offers, deal events, accepted-deal messages, feedback, reports, blocks, administrative trust-level decisions and reasons, credit and AI Assist activity, uploaded listing and Quick Add photos, and technical security logs. Phone verification temporarily uses the supplied number and challenge information; after confirmation, vFlea retains a one-way phone fingerprint, the final four digits, and verification timestamps rather than the full number. An eligible current-photo check stores the private coded proof photo, status, review notes, and participating account identifiers. Payment data is not collected unless a future checkout expressly says otherwise.

Public information

Your display name, storefront, listings, public Q&A, Wanted posts, member-since date, completed-deal counts, earned trust badge, current-photo status, and visible feedback may be public. Email addresses, phone numbers and fingerprints, precise coordinates, reports, blocks, private Bundle Haggles, accepted-deal messages, verification challenges, and current-photo proof images are not displayed publicly.

Uses

We use data to operate search, listings, AI-assisted drafts, verification, trust levels, current-photo checks, credits, and deals; prevent abuse; send account and transaction notices; moderate content; measure marketplace health; preserve transaction records; comply with law; and improve vFlea. Photos submitted to an enabled AI feature may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate the requested draft suggestions. Feedback may be provided to authorized automated review tools to summarize, categorize, prioritize, identify recurring themes, and recommend follow-up. Automated feedback review does not by itself send a response, change an account or listing, or publish a software change.

Sharing and retention

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the service, including providers used for hosting, email, security, phone verification, and enabled AI analysis, and with authorities or affected parties when legally required or necessary to protect safety and rights. A current-photo proof is available only to the requesting buyer, the listing seller, and authorized vFlea administrators. Security, verification, moderation, credit, AI Assist, and deal records may be retained after account closure when reasonably needed for fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or legal obligations.

Your choices

You may update account and listing information, block members, and request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some records cannot be deleted immediately when retention is required for security, an active transaction, or law.
